We're pleased to bring back the South End Tennis Club singles ladder. This social and competitive tennis ladder is open to all club members and runs from May 16 until October 2, 2015.

Adult Lessons

$80 / session
($115 value)

The first session of adult beginner and intermediate lessons will start June 1st. The advanced lessons will start June 4th. Lessons are being run in partnership with the HEADStart Tennis pros; the club is subsidizing lesson fees for all members, so eight hours of instruction, which regularly cost $115, will be just $80. Beginner class

Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 weeks from 6-7pm
An introductory course geared towards players trying tennis for the first time or those with brief experience coming back from a break. Players will learn basic technique and the rules of the game. This is a great social atmosphere to meet players of your own ability.

Intermediate class

Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 weeks from 7-8pm
The second stepping stone of our adult program, which allows players to build on their base. Players will learn basic tactics of attack and defense as they further refine their technical skills. Meeting and playing with your classmates will be encouraged.

Advanced class

Thursdays for 4 weeks from 6-7:30pm
This class is for players who are ready for a challenge! Players should already have good stroke fundamentals and be able to play offensive and defensive tennis. They will learn techniques to dictate play, first and second serve placement, as well as work on timing. This class will also include point play against others.
